v0.3.1 - balancing + bugfixes


balancing:

  • doubled asteroid spawn rate
  • decreased thruster speed scaling
  • increased starting hit size

bugfixes:

  • fixed launch showing up without any items
  • ordering of sprites on home screen
  • fixed spacebar being able to start a new mission while already in a mission
  • fixed escape being able to prematurely end a mission
  • fixed hitbar not being reset each run
  • fixed stopwatch fading too fast
  • fixed boost not working - realise this might need a rework
  • added a minor visual for losing fuel from corundum

also:

  • added a save system. decided not to include this in this update because the demo is only 30m-1hr and the system is still WIP

next:

  • adding a slower introduction to the scientist
  • adding some more sfx
  • more balancing
  • more bugfixing
  • performance optimisations
  • add endless mode

after this stuff, i'll go in hibernation and start working on the next big content update...
